Can you homebrew legally in your state?
State laws regarding homebrewing beer can vary and should be investigated before you start throwing those "cornie" keg parties! Federal laws govern the general production of homebrewed beverages derived from malt fermentation, however, many states and municipalities have specific statutes that cover who can drink your beer and what actually constitutes a beer... as if you didn't know what a beer was?!?!?
Some states require simple permits to brew beer. Other states have rules that limit the total volume allowed to be brewed before excise taxes would apply. You might just find that your state is a bit puritanical, so join the homebrew revolution and make your voice heard by your state legistlature.
